The Three Best Farmhouse Christmas Decor items at Target this year!

When we were looking for a house this past summer, we weren’t having much luck finding something we loved- until we pulled down our driveway and I saw the white farmhouse of my dreams. Seriously, I saw the porch and I was ready to make an offer. We did end up buying the white farmhouse (which is in a neighborhood and not on a farm) and we are slowly revamping the interior to reflect our style. But all of that takes time- and money… so while we wait to renovate the kitchen and master bath and re-stain the floors, I can continue to decorate with farmhouse items that are affordable (and don’t require taking out a loan)! And since it’s November, it’s officially time for Christmas decor, right?

So of course if I want farmhouse Christmas decor, I head to the mothership- Target! There is SO MUCH I could show you, but I picked the three absolute best farmhouse Christmas decorations for you to see. It was tough y’all- between the Hearth and Hand stuff, and all of the black and white and retro options, narrowing it down to three things was not easy. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

1. Mailbox Letters To Santa

I rounded the corner and saw this Green Letters To Santa Mailbox and actually made a squealing sound. My kids will verify that. It is TOO MUCH. Green- check. Metal- check. Vintage- check. Heavy and sturdy- check. Even though there about eight of these sitting there, I ran and grabbed one so fast you would have thought there was a stampede of shoppers behind me. I had three people stop me on the way to the register to ask where I found it. Friends- run don’t walk to get this treasure. It is hanging proudly on our porch by our mudroom door, and I can say that it is my current favorite Christmas decoration.

2. White Berry Pine Wreath with Bell

This White Berry Pine Wreath was a total no-brainer for me. I have loved every wreath I have ever bought from Target. This one was too adorable to pass up with the tiny white berries and the sweet bells hanging from the top. I especially love that they’re not your typical holiday jingle bells, but a more antique version. They even have an old-fashioned sound, if that’s such a thing. Right now, it’s hanging on the window on my porch that looks into the kitchen. I can’t promise it will stay there though. It might move to a spot above the piano, or maybe on the mirror in the powder room. Or the front door. Maybe I need another one.

3. Black and White Toile Placemat

My mom loves toile. Loves it. I went through a phase where I ignored it in my own home, thinking it was too “formal” or “fussy.” Until I came to my senses and realized it is the perfect farmhouse pattern when used in the right doses. So these  Black and White Toile Placemats  are pretty much perfect, like everything I love in one simple accessory. Black and white, slightly vintage, modern pattern on the reverse, and the perfect compliment to either traditional red holiday items, or right at home with neutrals and gold. Lovely. And so affordable. There were only four available at my local store, so online might be your best bet if you need enough for a large table.

So now that I’ve shown you how I’m using these farmhouse Christmas finds, I want to see yours! Especially if you have a creative way to display wreaths this Christmas- I’m always looking for a reason to buy more wreaths!
